The Role ..
To interact and communicate with your local community, working as an agent for TWL to raise money for good causes. You will be your own boss in the respect of your time and you will control your appointments although Head office will provide support and make appointments for you. You will have regular contact with your line manager and monthly meetings will be held
Key features of the work include contacting and presenting The Weather Lottery to clients and showing them how they can raise the needy funds for their cause. Head office will provide some appointments, although you will need to be proactive and interactive within your local community to acquire your own clients.
Our goal at TWL is to sign up organisations that are raising funds for either their club or a good cause. This role is rewarding and exciting and the end result is so fulfilling that job satisfaction is virtually guaranteed and you can work 1day, 1 hour or as many as 7 days a week and as many hours as you want!

Agents will work in the following areas:
- Charity
- Hospitals, Cancer, Medical Research, Special Needs, Children's Trusts, Dogs for the Blind, For the Deaf, Cleft pallet, Hospices, Volunteer groups etc.
- Education
- Nursery Groups, Play groups, Special Education Needs Schools, Primary Schools, Private Schools, Secondary Schools, Colleges, Universities, PTA's etc.
- Sports Clubs
- Football Clubs, Cricket Clubs, Rugby Clubs, Golf Clubs, Theme Parks, Swimming Clubs, Tennis Clubs, Ice Hockey, Karate Clubs, and 100's of Other Sports and Social Clubs etc.
- Political and Others
- Political parties, Churches, Primary Care, Scout Groups, Brownies, Public Houses and Hotels, Neighbourhood watch etc.
Skill Sets
To work as an agent, you should:
- Posses a friendly and willing personality, with a 'can do attitude' and have.
- Excellent communication skills, with good presentation and organisational skills.
- Have motivation, self-confidence and be creative, with a good eye for clients needing support.
- You must want to help and support causes that are trying to better our local communities.
- You must be personable and able to communicate and interact with people.
- Own your own vehicle would also be an asset but again not essential.
Hours and Environment
Hours of work vary and they are down to you.
It can be a regular 9 - 5 role and can be as many or as little as you require it really is down to you!
Equipment
- Laptop - not essential, and the web site is on a disc
- Presentation Folder provided
- Handouts and flyers
- Common sense and a willingness to help your local causes
Training
- Full training will be given and support is readily on hand every day.
Opportunities

Annual Income
In return for acting as agents for the Weather Game, PLL will pay the agent 2.0% of the ticket sales from any client lottery introduced by the agent. This amount is net of any VAT due.
Maintain good communication with your causes and help them increase their lines - it pays you too!
